the supscription services were not consistent and. massive disappointment!
The New Yorker magazine (Conde Nast) attempted to charge my credit card for an $99.99 plus tax for their (most expensive) annual subscription option. Not three, but only two months in. Never received an original email confirmation, nor another one when they auto-charged my credit card early. Only noticed because we were looking at bank statements for something else. Never would have expected this multi-layered shady from them. Who knows how many "trial" subscribers they've pulled this on. Sad.
This business had the gall to defend that new P.O.S. film "Cuties" when it came out, trying to claim that the reason anyone who doesn't like isn't because they find the fact that the film that has a ton of scenes of underage preteen girls in sexualized positions or doing sexual stuff disgusting, horrendous, sickening and should be illegal, but because they're "right wingers". I hate politics and am a strong apolitical, but if this poor excuse of a business is going to harass people with actual working brains in their head who know pedophilia is WRONG AND ILLEGAL, and try to blame it on political BS bias like that, then they shouldn't be operating.
And do these braindead fools not even realize how bad they're making left-wingers look by saying that?
Since 3 month I never receive anything, because the address is wrong in their system!
I try to contact the client services many times but they are useless, they don’t understand anything! A 5 years old child could change the address!!!
Don’t register to this newspaper, you pay and you receive nothing ...
